OpenPlay Football privacy overview

What this project collects

• Contact form details you submit, such as name, email, reason, and message.
• Server logs and anti-abuse signals used to keep forms available and reduce spam.
• Cookies or local storage used by the simulator, accessibility preferences, and Coach Grant conversation history.
• A form anti-abuse cookie and a signed five-minute opt-out result cookie. The opt-out result cookie contains no subscriber identity.

Ask Coach Riley Grant

Questions submitted through Ask Coach Riley Grant are sent to the configured AI provider so it can generate an educational response. No account is required for basic chat. Conversation history is stored in your browser for up to seven days unless you clear it.

OpenPlay Football does not intentionally store chat transcripts in an application database in this phase. Provider and server logs may exist according to the configured services. Anonymous signed-cookie and coarse security signals may be processed for rate limiting and abuse prevention.

Do not submit confidential team information, private playbooks, personal data, medical information, or information about minors. Question text, answer text, and transcript content are not sent to Google Analytics.

Why information is used

• Responding to contact requests.
• Honoring legacy email opt-out and privacy requests.
• Operating and securing the website.
• Measuring anonymous site usage with Google Analytics.

OpenPlayFootball.com does not collect payment information or accept new newsletter subscriptions.

Service providers

Resend is used as the email and contact provider for contact form forwarding and legacy email preferences. Google Analytics is used for aggregate measurement. The configured AI provider processes Coach Grant questions and the limited recent context required to answer them.

Email addresses, names, messages, and exact form content are not sent to Google Analytics.

Retention and unsubscribe

Contact records are retained to respond to project inquiries. Previously collected email subscription records are temporarily retained pending a separate retention review and are not being repurposed for a new mailing list. Legacy promotional sends are discontinued. Existing unsubscribe links remain supported to record opt-out preferences.
