OpenPlay Football privacy overview

What this project collects

• Contact form details you submit, such as name, email, reason, and message.
• Campaign update signup information, including email and signup source.
• Server logs and anti-abuse signals used to keep forms available and reduce spam.
• Cookies or local storage used by the simulator, accessibility preferences, and Coach Grant conversation history.

Ask Coach Riley Grant

Questions submitted through Ask Coach Riley Grant are sent to the configured AI provider so it can generate an educational response. No account is required for basic chat. Conversation history is stored in your browser for up to seven days unless you clear it.

OpenPlay Football does not intentionally store chat transcripts in an application database in this phase. Provider and server logs may exist according to the configured services. Anonymous signed-cookie and coarse security signals may be processed for rate limiting and abuse prevention.

Do not submit confidential team information, private playbooks, personal data, medical information, or information about minors. Question text, answer text, and transcript content are not sent to Google Analytics.

Why information is used

• Responding to contact requests.
• Sending requested campaign and development updates.
• Operating and securing the website.
• Measuring anonymous site usage with Google Analytics.

OpenPlayFootball.com does not collect pledge or payment information. The official Kickstarter campaign is subject to Kickstarter's own privacy terms.

Service providers

Resend is used as the email and contact provider for contact form forwarding and campaign updates. Google Analytics is used for aggregate measurement. The configured AI provider processes Coach Grant questions and the limited recent context required to answer them.

Email addresses, names, messages, and exact form content are not sent to Google Analytics.

Retention and unsubscribe

Contact and campaign records are retained for project operations and can be removed from campaign updates through unsubscribe links in campaign emails.
