A shared football language
The long-term opportunity is a portable language that helps people describe a play once and use it across diagrams, teaching tools, simulations, presentations, and developer integrations. Future work would need input from coaches, educators, players, fans, and software teams to keep that language useful and understandable.
Authoring possibilities
Future versions could add a visual play editor, assisted play definitions, imported custom playbooks, coach annotations, team collaboration, and shared play libraries. These tools could make structured football knowledge easier to create, review, and teach. None of these authoring capabilities exists in the current POC.
Simulation possibilities
Future work could explore defensive practice, longer situational sequences, full-game simulation, richer team tendencies, and carefully governed tracking-data integration. The current scope remains a bounded educational one-drive experience with simplified outcomes.
Publishing possibilities
Future versions could export diagrams to images, video, or presentation formats and expose a documented developer API for compatible tools. These are directional ideas, not commitments or available integrations.
Built through feedback
The strongest next steps will come from real use and candid feedback. Questions about football clarity, data design, accessibility, teaching value, and practical coaching workflows can help identify which possibilities deserve deeper exploration.
